The first colloquium talk of 2009 will be given on Jan. 30 at 3 pm by Colin Phillips from the University of Maryland. Colin is a Professor of Linguistics and a Co-Director of Cognitive Neuroscience of Language Lab & Maryland MEG Center. Click here for the abstract to his talk.
Following the reception, there will be a pot-luck at Roger Schwarzschild and Karina Wilkinson’s residence. For those of you who are not sure what to bring, think about what would go well with the following: rum, plain yogurt and mango juice. A mixture of these fine elements will be provided.
On Friday, Feb. 13, Birgit Alber (Uni of Verona) will give the second colloquium of the month; on Friday, Feb. 17, John Trueswell (UPenn) will give the third colloquium of the month. More details to follow.
