Rutgers Hosts SALT 21

Rutgers is hosting Semantics and Linguistic Theory 21 on May 20-22, 2011.

The field of semantics is strong and growing. For this year’s conference, we received 167 outstanding abstracts for talks and posters. With the generous help of 131 reviewers, we selected 20 abstracts for talks and 25 for posters.

Semantics research is supported by multiple entities at Rutgers and we gratefully acknowledge their financial sponsorship of this event.

Executive Dean, Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences
Area Dean for Humanities, Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences
Rutgers Center for Cognitive Science
Rutgers Department of Linguistics and Rutgers Department of Philosophy

This is the second time this prestigious conference is being held at Rutgers. In 1996, the then young department hosted SALT 6, which was a great success. We expect SALT 21 to be an even bigger success!
