Heather Robinson (Ph.D. ’05) gets tenure

Congratulations to Heather Robinson on getting tenure at York College, CUNY. Heather got her Ph.D. at Rutgers in 2005 for her dissertation Unexpected (In)definiteness: Plural Generic Expressions in Romance. She was an Assistant Director in the Rutgers Writing Program from 2004-2007, and then the English Department at York College hired her in 2007 as an Assistant Professor.

Robinson has published widely in her areas of specialization (theoretical and applied linguistics, writing program administration and English for academic purposes). Kudos to her, and we wish her continued success.
